TESTING

ACT AND PRE-ACT REMINDERS

ACT and PreACT will take place on March 22nd for juniors and sophomores.

Freshmen and seniors will not report to school that day.

Please keep the following in mind:

  • Get plenty of rest, wear comfortable clothing, and do not arrive late. Testing will start promptly and will keep to a schedule. Check out your room designation the day before testing.
  • Bring a student ID or license
  • Students should bring sharpened No. 2 pencils (always have a backup just in case), mechanical pencils, highlighters, or ink pens are not permitted during testing. Students will not be able to access cell phones, fitness bands, smartwatches, or any alarm devices during testing, including during the break.
  • Please bring an appropriate ACT calculator for the math portion of the exam. Students are only allowed to use ACT-approved calculators. If unsure, visit the ACT calculator policy.
  • Students can’t access textbooks, homework, reading material, scratch paper, dictionaries, notes, or other aids.
  • Students are allowed to bring snacks or a drink, but can only access these during the break and not during testing (even water).
